Due to the heavy snowfall and cold wave, operations at several major ports in Northern Europe have been disrupted. On January 7th, Maersk reminded that the severe winter weather in Northern Europe was affecting key terminals and the inland transportation network, and advised customers to pick up their containers as soon as possible to reduce congestion.
