According to data from the World Bank, East Asian seaports continue to maintain their dominance in terms of container throughput and operational resilience.
Below is a list of the world’s 13 busiest seaports, ranked by container volume (measured in TEUS, or Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). This ranking includes ports that have recorded the highest container throughput in recent years:
