After suspending its Red Sea voyage on February 1, CMA Line sent a container ship to venture into the Red Sea on the February 20th.
On the same day, the Houthis stated that the Israeli vessel “MSC Silver II”, (which is actually operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC)), was attacked in the vicinity of the Gulf of Aden by a number of missiles.
Although CMA Line has vowed to re-route its liners to avoid crossing the risky Red Sea and the Mandab Strait, however, they still sent the container ship "Jules Verne" on the 20th and safely crossed the Red Sea under the escort of the French Navy.
