Israel has been thrown into "chaos" by a dispute over the government's push to reform the judiciary.More than 630,000 people took to the streets of several cities in Israel on the night of March 26 after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defense Minister Yad Galant for opposing his judicial reforms. It was the "largest protest in the history" of Israel.
Israel's two main seaports, Haifa and Ashdod, have been closed as part of a labor strike.
Despite Netanyahu's announcement, protest organizers announced late on March 27 that the protests would continue on Saturday. The protests are expected to be concentrated in Tel Aviv, with other demonstrations taking place in various parts of Israel.
Organizers also said they expect to launch local protests across the country next Tuesday(April 4th).
